Booking & Consultation Policy

At Natural Beauty by Helen, I’m committed to providing high-quality, personalised treatments in a calm and professional space. To ensure your experience runs smoothly and out of respect for all clients, please take a moment to review the following policies:

To keep things simple and secure, I kindly ask that all in-salon payments are made using my TimelyPay card terminal.

I accept:

  • I accept card payments via my secure TimelyPay terminal, which also accepts Apple Pay. Finance options available.

A deposit is required to secure all bookings:

  • £20 for standard treatments
  • £40 for higher-value services

This deposit comes off your total, and the remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.

Please note: Deposits are strictly non-refundable. I’m happy to reschedule your appointment if at least 24 hours’ notice is given — but as I am often fully booked, rescheduling may not always be possible. Please bear this in mind when selecting your appointment date and time.

No deposit is required for prepaid course appointments. However, if you miss an appointment without giving at least 24 hours notice, that session may be deducted from your course at my discretion.

“Thank you so much for your understanding and support. These policies help me create a peaceful and professional environment for every client.”

Cancellations, illness & late arrivals
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit.
  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean your appointment needs to be rescheduled, and your deposit will be forfeited.
  • A new deposit will be required to rebook.

If you are feeling unwell — including symptoms such as a cold, flu, or anything contagious — please get in touch to rearrange your appointment.

If you arrive to your appointment clearly unwell, you will be asked to leave and rebook, and the booking fee will be lost. I cannot risk my own health or the health of my other clients, and I trust you will understand how important this is.

Due to limited availability, I kindly ask you to book mindfully and give as much notice as possible if your plans or health change.

Patch Testing for Lash Treatments

Patch tests are required for the following treatments:

  • Lash Lifts (LVL)
  • Eyelash Extensions
  • Lash Tinting

A quick patch test appointment will need to be arranged at least 24–48 hours prior to your treatment.

Please note: Even with a negative patch test, there is still a small risk of a delayed reaction. In the rare event this occurs after your treatment, the full cost will still apply, as you are booking my time and professional service.

Additional Patch Testing For Advanced Skin treatments

For advanced facials, such as the Hydro Facial, patch testing may be required—particularly when using active ingredients like exfoliating acids or performing treatments on darker skin tones. This ensures the skin responds safely and helps avoid any risk of hyperpigmentation or irritation.

If you’re unsure whether you require a patch test, please reach out in advance. Your safety is my priority, and I want to make sure every treatment is suitable for your unique skin type.

Arrival Etiquette

When you arrive, please send me a message and wait to be invited in. This helps maintain a calm, focused space for everyone.

If I’m available and running ahead, I’ll let you know — but please note I may be on a break or finishing another treatment, so early arrivals may need to wait.

Thank you so much for your understanding and support. These policies help me create a peaceful and professional environment for every client.
